We were approached by a lady saying she had met a gentleman on a dating site called
“singlemuslims.com. Our client a GP from the South of England was in email contact with a gentleman who’s location was Dubai.
They emailed back and forth and within just a few weeks he said his business was in trouble and could she lend him £250,000. Remember at this stage they hadn’t met each other, she re-mortgaged two properties and sent the money to Dubai via her Santander account. Santander were so suspicious that they called the Police who visited our client. She explained that there was nothing to worry about and they left it at that.
Fraudster – Salman Wahla
Our client visited Dubai and found the gentleman living at the Burj Khalifa skyscraper, the tallest building in the world, the annual rent was $36,000. As it turns out our client was paying his rent! Within weeks, yes you’ve guessed it, the fraudster Salman Wahla requested more money. He made up a story about his cargo due into the port of Mozambique had been hijacked by Pirates ! We wonder now if it was Captain Jack Sparrow?
In total Mr. Salman Wahla was lent by our client £460,000. This man promised the earth, professed un dying love, was going to move to the UK but instead took advantage of a venerable highly intelligent women and stole her life savings. When we asked what car Salman Wahla drove we were told by our client that he couldn’t drive. However during our investigations he was photographed outside the Burj Khalifa driving a black Lamborghini! Clearly yet another lie.  Our client remortgaged further properties to fund Salman Wahla. Took her children out of fee paying private schools just to survive following the theft by this man.
Dubai Police were notified but were not interested. This ‘Playboy’ has got away with in excess of £460,000 purports to live between Dubai and Monaco…………Beware.
Update unfortunately yet another victim for this man Salman Wahla. This London lady lost £75,000. No monies returned the only good news Wahla is now locating himself in London given the UK based creditors the opportunity to attempt to recover their money. We believe he has been kicked out of Dubai.

An alleged fraudster could be extradited to crime mecca Dubai (above) after the United Arab Emirates (UAE) issued an international arrest warrant.
Salman Afzal Asghar, this is Salmon’s real name 40, a Pakistani national from Circus Road, West Battersea, west London, is alleged to have committed fraud in the United Arab Emirates.
The Metropolitan Police arrested him.
This man denies the allegations and is opposing extradition.
At a hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, his bail conditions were varied. He is under an electronically monitored curfew between 2am and 10am daily and must live and sleep at his home address.
His passport has been retained by police. He must not make any attempt to leave the UK. An £18,000 security has also been lodged with the court.
We have regularly reported on how Dubai has become a mecca for international criminals, including many from Britain, money laundering is big business in the UAE Â and Dubai is used as a playground to evade justice from.
There have been very few extradition requests from the UAE to the UK, but earlier this year the UK successfully extradited a number of wanted criminals from Dubai.
We understand that he continues to evade the long arm of the law. We also believe he has now left the UK, possibly going back to Dubai.
To take this matter further Salman Wahla continues to move around the UAE at will it would seem. He is married we believe only to gain a passport. His wife has lost a total of £58,000 to date and his offer of repayment is 100 euros every now and then. From what we also understand he is in and out of jail with the courts clearly not knowing what to do with this man.
