Sometimes it is strange how debtors are served with a County Court Summons, put forward an outrageous defence and then make an offer of payment. What is important to remember an offer is an offer and sometimes it is important to consider all aspects of the recovery process. What is it going to cost to take the matter all the way through the court process? Can we afford the additional fees? Can we afford to loose? These are the type of questions to ask yourselves. Often that early offer is worth a very good look.
